My name is Tessa. Welcome to my blog Alternative That Glitters!
Alternative That Glitters is a creative culture and lifestyle blog where I write about music, food, books, fashion, film/tv, travel and more.
I am originally from ,and currently based in, the North East of England and I am also hoping to highlight some of the area’s great businesses, places to visit and creatives in the near future.
I first set up the blog in 2020 when I was in between jobs during the peak of the pandemic. Although I have taken a long hiatus for various reasons, I am finally getting back into working on it whenever I can find some free time in between full-time work and and other responsibilities.
Blogging is something really love doing this as it gives me an excuse to write and get creative so I hope you enjoy my posts.
